Installation of Doors and Windows at Military Club Facility

The Installation of Doors and Windows at Military Club Facility project, implemented under Project Reference MIF HQ 008 & HQ 030 / Dez 3 / 2003, was carried out in Pole Charkhi District, Kabul, with the support of ISAF/CIMIC Germany. The project was undertaken as an infrastructure rehabilitation intervention aimed at improving the physical condition, functionality, and usability of the existing military club facility. Under the project, a total of 7 doors and windows were installed as part of the rehabilitation works. The intervention contributed to improving the building enclosure, accessibility, security, and overall functionality of the facility, which served approximately 1,500 individuals. Project activities included preparation for installation, fitting and installation of the required doors and windows, associated adjustment works, and completion of the rehabilitation activities necessary to restore the affected sections of the building. The works were carried out with a focus on practical improvement of the existing facility and its continued use by the beneficiaries. The project was implemented from 1 April 2003 to 10 June 2003, with a reported project value of EUR 1,400. Through these targeted rehabilitation works, the intervention contributed to improving the condition and serviceability of an important institutional facility in Pole Charkhi District. Overall, the project represented a focused infrastructure rehabilitation initiative that enhanced the functionality and physical condition of the Military Club Facility and supported approximately 1,500 individuals in Kabul under ISAF/CIMIC Germany Project Reference MIF HQ 008 & HQ 030 / Dez 3 / 2003.
